2 out of 5 stars Not worth the price   February 1, 2010

I was hoping to get night vision binoculars for my husband and although there are much higher priced binoculars out there, I was expecting more for the price. These are something you would give a kid or something. I was disappointed.

3 out of 5 stars Seems Like a Kid's Toy   January 5, 2010

First off, this seller is fantastic. On the other hand, I did not like this product. First, the binoculars are a fixed width, and they seem a little too close together. Also, when you slide the switch to activate 'night vision', the room you're in will light up. It doesn't seem to amplify light, but instead it creates its own, which is not what advanced (though expensive) night vision does.
My review is a little biased because I bought these for the night vision, not because I needed binoculars. If you just needed binoculars, I suppose these might do the trick, but you could buy other and possibly nicer ones for a similar price.
While kids will love these, they fall a bit short if you need them to sneak around in the night unseen. Not to mention, I found the exact same binoculars on Amazon for $15 and free shipping with Amazon Prime.
